Developer
Duties:
The Talend consultant will work with gRED IT and Business teams closely to deliver projects for Data warehouse/Data lake built on Talend/AWS platform.
The consultant will need to be hands on as well as provide solution architecture working with agile teams.
The projects will include small & medium enhancements, Impact analysis for upstream/downstream data changes, Infrastructure migrations, defect fixes and data migration.
The focus will be in providing data faster to meet the business needs.
The solution in scope is largely built in Talend and a comprehensive understanding of Talend design, frameworks, and workflow automation is essential.
The consultant must have prior experience of working with large (20+) and a variety of upstream data sources (flat/CSV files, XML files, DB connections etc).
Business Intelligence experience will be an added advantage in supporting Qlikview and Tableau applications.
Experience in Star schema model is must.
Data vault modelling will be required for the project purposes.
AWS redshift working knowledge may help support the project needs.
Job duties ETL workflow design, code reviews, SDLC implementation best practices and Talend Subject Matter expertise.
Implement Talend/AWS best practices.
Hands on modelling with Data vault modelling techniques.
Performance tuning Redshift database.
Performance tuning of the ETL jobs using Talend optimization techniques such as Load balancing, multi-threading, parallel processing Provide solutioning on administration tasks such as system monitoring, tuning, job scheduling, production deployment plan, job orchestration.
Skills:
Talend implementation experience of atleast 2 years or 3
