Legal Domain Business Systems Analyst

The Matter Management Subject Matter Expert is a dedicated technical functional role for the Matter Management Initiative and Technology Implementation within the Information Technology team for legal stakeholders.
This role will be involved in all aspects of Legal Matter Management and will report to IT Portfolio Manager.
This role builds effective relationship between Legal and Information Technology team to:
Understand the current legal business process & data flow, identify & analyze gaps and translate them to the technology team to fit the business requirements in the vendor product Evaluate current state architecture, recommend and implement changes with a focus on improving the scalability, accessibility and user experience of Matter Management Combine business needs, roadmaps and technology trends to implement Enterprise Matter Management platform Provide technical and architectural expertise to projects, teams and service providers, ensuring that new initiatives enable effective and scalable data storage, collaboration, reporting and analysis capabilities Map out the possibilities and implement the right solution for our internal business partner and maintain a hub for deliverables, methodologies, required collaterals etc.
Education & Experience 10 years plus experience as technical BA/BS A minimum of 10 years total work experience with at least 3 or more years relevant experience in large scale technology implementation projects within the pharmaceutical / biotech industry with a sound knowledge of Matter Management Excellent Knowledge of Project Management methodologies, concepts, techniques and tools is required.
Prior experience managing legal technology projects in a strategic context is a plus.
Six Sigma or other Operational Excellence related certifications a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Has a deep understanding of Legal Matter Management with proven track record working on multiple projects as a hands-on solution consultant Strong influencing skills; consistently achieves targeted results without authority and by leveraging his/her expertise, business knowledge, interpersonal skills, organizational savvy and relationships Strong partnering skills; has exceptionally strong and highly effective working relationships with internal and/or external customers, partners and stakeholders Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, including understanding of key change management concepts and methodologies Must work well as member of a diverse team and in a proactive, positive and collaborative manner; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Able to deal with ambiguity and constant change and work independently with minimal supervision Competent in Google Suite applications including Google Sheet, Google Doc, Google Slides etc.
International or global business experience and cultural awareness preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
