Our client is a leading biotech company with a large office in South San Francisco. They have a 3+ month contract assignment for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join their team.
The Administrative Assistant will manage multiple schedules with heavy calendaring of complex meetings. Arrange, coordinate and support meetings, events, and activities both on and off-site. Generate, disseminate and maintain documents and information. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating meetings and conferences, creating and preparing presentation materials, planning off-site or larger scale on-site meetings and other events, coordinating work related travel, and assist with special projects,
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is REQUIRED. Proficiency with Google applications including gCal and GoogleDocs is a plus.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred but substantial experience may be substituted in the absence of a college degree. Prior Biotech experience is a plus.
Pay rate: $20-25/hr, depending on experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
