Governance Analyst

Duties:
Provide oversight of supplier reporting to ensure timely, accurate reports on: operations, issues, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Ensure appropriate internal reviews, decisions are made per process requirements and provide reporting to executives and business units as needed.
Drive resolution of Governance Issue Resolution Requests and Service Change Requests.
Facilitate the issue resolution process by working with initiators to clearly define the problem, identify and analyze possible solutions, involve stakeholders, and ultimately resolve the issue.
Ensure contract changes are captured and approved per the documented processes.
Ensure all contract related records are stored in the Governance Repository.
Holding Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual meetings to review performance, Key Performance Indicators and Metrics to ensure performance of service providers is meeting stakeholders' expectations. These are formal meetings. Agenda's and meeting minutes are required.
You are also expected to follow up on proposed action items.
Excellent knowledge of all current contract terms and conditions is expected.
You should have subject matter expertise to allow you to be regarded as the expert to turn to with regard to any interpretation of terms and conditions.
Several of the contracts include complex Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements that are tied to variable compensation payments.
Strict, disciplined administration of these metrics is required and adjudication of variable compensation payments may be needed based on interpretation of the Terms and Conditions of the contract.
Administration of the contract in connection with change orders, purchase order amendments, and contract amendments will be achieved in conjunction with the Manager of Program Controls and Contract Management.
Close liaison and seamless integration of both functions is an absolute necessity.

Skills:
Supplier relationship experience and maintaining composure under pressure are required.
Effectively using influence without authority to effect change.
Being aware of underlying political forces within both the service provider and the Genentech organizations.
Cross function team leadership even via virtual communication channels.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to present at large, formal, meetings and to respond to contentious questions in a professional manner.
To write memo's that may be subject to legal discovery and hence must be formal, concise and accurate in content.
Superb computer skills including all Microsoft standard office tools. All Google standard office tools.
Ability to use PC or Apple platforms.
Some knowledge of SAP would be a great advantage, as would some skills in M'soft Project and Visio. Remote conferencing using WebEx, Skype and other video conferencing platforms is required.
Proven formal contract negotiation skills are a plus. Knowledge of standard forms of contract, legal contracts used in the USA and interpretation of standard and non-standard terms and conditions are required.
Minimum 5 years of related analytical, business and operational experience in Procurement/ Quantity Surveying / Supply Chain Management / Engineering
Ability to interpret and relate Standard contract terms and conditions applicable to USA contracts for implementation and review.
Biotech / pharmaceutical industry experience a plus.
Project management or Project Controls experience is a plus.
Education:
Science, Engineering or Quantity Surveying BS / BA required, MS, MBA or 5-7 years of business/operations experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
