Global Blood Therapeutics (GBT) is seeking a skilled leader to enhance and optimize the Company's focus on Learning and Development and field execution. The Senior Manager, L&D is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Director of Commercial Excellence. Your goal will be helping GBT succeed by training and developing its personnel. This role will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of our training content, aligned to the POA, and help our employees advance their skills and knowledge. Ideally, this is a Work interchangeable role, i.e. 1 to 3 days a week (30%) in the SSF; live training weeks may require additional onsite time to support. We would consider a Remote candidate, with a minimum one week per month live in the San Francisco office, however, that week will vary month to month based on business needs. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of the commercial training plan for field employees (Sales and Access Navigator teams). Align learning and development priorities with the BPOA, and leadership's execution goals Organize new hire onboarding experience to include home study/LMS learning, HQ-based training content delivery and certification Own e-learning content development and cycle management Lead for two annual National Meetings:
workshop creation for Sales and Access Navigator curriculum, train-the-trainer coordination/delivery, sustainment initiatives and, attend meetings Co-lead for Regional Field Trainer Team and field-based pull-through activities Collaborate with field leaders to promote individual performance and support coaching gaps/needs Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing and, HQ leads to support brand strategy, tactics, and promotional efforts in training priorities Candidate should be passionate about helping people learn, grow and, possess excellent communication skills Manage budget and monitor SOWs, ensuring cost effective delivery of all initiatives Understand key metrics to measure success, analyze data, and recommend changes based on results Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, Compliance and Medical colleagues to ensure an effective and timely Veeva/promotional review process Create and support an environment of inclusion and excellence
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree preferred 6-9
years of relevant sales and/or commercial experience, preferably within the bio/pharma industry and rare disease. At least 2 years of headquarter-based learning and development experience Experience developing live and virtual training content, aligned to POA Experience delivering training to commercial audiences, both live and virtual settings Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess training needs/opportunities and recommend solutions, proactively Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) Excellent self-starter initiative and team orientation. Preference to operate quickly and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Must have excellent attention to detail, time management, project management, negotiation and execution skills Proficient with adult learning principles and building impactful training curriculum, for blended audiences Exceptional collaboration and cross-functional, project management experience Experience in managing external vendors and project deadlines in alignment with SOWs Travel requirements minimal (estimated 10%) Proven ability to influence and solve problems Fit with GBT culture:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
